The Warren County High School softball team won its regular-season finale at home Thursday night by defeating the Cumberland County Lady Jets, 5-0. With the win, the Lady Pioneers finish the season an even 12-12 heading into the district tournament at Stone memorial High School.Hailey Wood led the way at the plate for the Lady Pioneers, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, including an inside-the-park homerun. Seniors Ty Ramirez and Lindsey Cox added two hits and an RBI apiece in the win.Maddie Cantrell dominated on the mound, earning the win, going seven strong innings, allowing no runs on three hits, while striking out two.Neither team got on the board in the first inning as they both went down in order.
