Alexis Locke and Jerica Heywood backed up Myers with two hits apiece.Myers was the driving force behind Kirby jumping out to an early lead. After striking out two batters in a flawless first inning, Myers led the bottom of the first off with a single.She quickly moved to third on two straight pitches, showing off her excellent speed.
