Add the White County Warriorettes to the teams who have paid for overlooking the Lady Pioneers.For the first time in 12 years – and only for the third time in the last 52 matchups – the Warren County High School girls basketball team beat White County. The Lady Pioneers won 51-45 Friday night at White County for their first District 6-AAA victory.Warren County (8-5) shocked the state last December when the team beat undefeated Cannon County in what Lady Pioneer coach Erick Baird called the “best win of his career.” He may have some new wins this season that rival last year’s upset of the top-ranked team in the state.The Lady Pioneers snapped a 12-year losing streak to Coffee County in November and now the team owns a victory over White County for the first time since February 2001.
