It’s time to add a sixth Great Lake. There’s Lake Michigan, Lake Ontario, Lake Superior, Lake Erie, Lake Huron and now local boxing product Lake Kirby is the sixth.The Great Lake Kirby continued his reign as SAE Ace Miller Memorial boxing tournament champion recently when he defended his title in the junior light heavyweight division. Kirby won both of his matches - including the championship bout – by way of referee stoppage.A senior at the University of Tennessee, Kirby went in as the favorite in the 168-pound division after emerging victorious last year.
