Golf teams putting in summer work

The WCHS boys and girls golf teams have been hard at work this summer looking to improve their game. Led by head coach J.W. Holt, the Pioneers and the Lady Pioneers will both see some new faces this season and some familiar ones too.Some of the key returning players on the boys side are, Bracton Womack, Jaeden Pyburn, Levi Craven and Nate Cantrell. Peyton Haston comes in as a freshman for the Pioneer squad this season and Bunker Brock returns as a junior this season as he took a year off after his freshman year.For the girls, they will need to replace some key leaders from a year ago, such as Saylem Powell and Brynn Craven.
