It may be just five days into spring practice, but the Warren County High School football team is already tired of hitting each other. The Pioneers will get a chance to get physical with an opponent tonight when the Lincoln County Falcons come to town for a scrimmage.Warren County and Lincoln County will take the field at Nunley Stadium at 6:30 p.m. in the first showcase for both teams. The Pioneers, under the direction of second-year head coach Tommy Johnson, will be looking to show off a number of new players, as Warren County lost 17 senior starters.Coach Johnson expects his team to exhibit its most noticable trait, youth.“I expect us to be young,” said Johnson. “We are a young football team. I want the guys to go out and execute the things they are being taught.“If they can execute what we’re teaching, we’ll be an improved football team.”Though the scrimmage will be the first look at many players, it won’t serve as a full preview of the 2011 Pioneer squad.
