The sights of a state-tournament bid were blinded by teary eyes. The normally audible screams of celebration were replaced with sighs and sobs. The Warren County High School volleyball season wasn’t supposed to end so soon.The dream season for the Lady Pioneers came crashing down Monday night as Warren County was defeated by the Coffee County Lady Raiders in the opening round of the District 6-AAA tournament.Coach Franklin Fisher had seen his team do plenty of special things this season, so the loss was especially tough for the team.“It was a sad situation,” said Fisher.
