PLAYER COMMENTS FROM THE FIRST PLACE TEAMS

Irving College standout and all-tournament player Anden Green said, “I say that we all played great that game. We all played good defense, and we all got the ball around. We all scored points, and that is all that matters. I think of every team being on the same level. If I did not have my teammates, there would be no me.”

Hickory Creek standout and all-tournament player Maelee Turner said, “I do not know how many points I scored tonight. I think we did really well. We have room for improvement, but we did well. I think our offense was really good tonight. I hustled and played hard. I scored most of my points on layups.”
