Revenge was on the minds of Edward Jones Monday night as it faced off against Carbide CrossFit in the first round of girls 7-9 softball at Pete Holt Field as it returned all of its players. Carbide CrossFit previously beat undefeated Edward Jones, 13-11, last Thursday but Monday was a different story as Edward Jones ultimately defeated Carbide, 11-1, via the run-rule, behind strong hitting at the plate.The top of the lineup was the story for Edward Jones as three players got three hits apiece. Halle Lowe, Lily Rains, who had two doubles, a single and three RBIs and Jera Jones led the charge.
