Crushettz gave Dana’s Dog-On Grooming a once-over in Midway softball action Monday night, winning 18-12. Crushettz did not have one monster inning, but several good ones.
Aleksa Rodriguez had an RBI triple in the first and an RBI hit in the sixth. Lexie Thomas had an RBI double in the second, Anna Prater an RBI double in the third and a two-RBI triple in the fifth. Taylor Coldwell an RBI triple in the sixth.
For Dana’s, Cassidy Gilbert had two hits and three RBIs. Erin McBride had an RBI single, Sophie Woodlee had an RBI base hit, and Kylie “Boog” Langenback had a two-RBI single to left-center field in the top of the sixth.
Crushettz pickup Izzy Pitts played stellar defense at shortstop.
In the fifth inning, outfielder Prater made a good catch on a fly ball hit by Dana’s Aspen King. Dana’s first baseman Anna Eidson made a double play in the sixth when she caught an Adison Summers liner and tagged first to double-up Brooke Kesey.
