NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee nose tackle Sammie Hill has a new injury in the same right knee, and coach Ken Whisenhunt says the Titans are talking to doctors trying to decide if the lineman will need surgery to repair his knee.
Whisenhunt said Tuesday that Hill suffered this latest injury late last week.
Hill missed a chunk of the offseason program and started training camp on the physically unable to perform list. His preseason debut came in Kansas City on Aug. 28 but lasted only one series.
The veteran started 15 games for the Titans last season. Whisenhunt says he isn't ruling Hill out against Minnesota on Thursday night just yet.
