Titans place McCluster on injured reserve, promote Aubrey

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have placed running back Dexter McCluster on injured reserve and promoted safety Josh Aubrey from the practice squad to the roster.

The Titans announced the moves Wednesday.

McCluster broke his left wrist in last week's 30-8 loss to the New York Jets. The 5-foot-10 Aubrey spent training camp with the Titans and was waived in the final cuts of the preseason before being signed to the practice squad. Aubrey played six games as a rookie with Cleveland in 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of Stephen F. Austin and two games with Houston last year.

Tennessee also signed quarterback Mike Kafka and wide receiver Nick Harwell to the practice squad. This is the fifth NFL team for Kafka, a fourth-round pick by Philadelphia in 2010.
