Kimberly Smith, pictured with her daughter and No. 1 fan Emmie Jae, was named the District 9AAA Coach of the year for her work with the Lady Pioneer soccer team this fall.
Kimberly Smith won plenty of awards when she was star of the Lady Pioneers, but last week was the first time she's been honored for coaching her alma mater. Smith was selected as the District 9AAA coach of the year after leading the Lady Pioneers to six wins this season.
