Earning football scholarships doesn’t start in the fall when high school teams take the field. It’s a never-ending process of camps, workouts and training that run throughout the year.Warren County High School football players Aaron McKinley, Logan Wanamaker and Jeremiah Lance know this process all too well. All three players have spent the summer attending camps throughout the Southeast, the latest coming last weekend when the trio visited Nashville for Vanderbilt’s summer camp.Run by second-year head coach James Franklin, the Vanderbilt camp was very appealing to the Pioneer trio who are all seeking to be noticed by college coaches.McKinley, an upcoming senior, has been to several camps this summer and highly recommends the camp put on by the Commodores.“I really liked the camp. The coaches worked with each individual in the group and really emphasized technique,” said McKinley.
