Ten players got into the scoring column for Boyd on Saturday as the Broncos showed some giddy-up in a 63-25 home victory over Highland Rim.
Boyd point guard Jamison Brock led the charge, driving the lane on his way to a game-high 14 points. Jalyn Mart finished with nine.
“The guys came out really pumped up for our last home game of the year,” said Boyd coach Ryan Mason. “Everything was falling for us. It was one of those games where everything went right.”
It was the fourth win for Boyd, which travels to Lancaster Christian this Friday to close out its regular season.
The Broncos made a statement early as Brock couldn’t be stopped getting to the rim. Boyd held a 16-5 lead after the first quarter, then held Highland Rim to just three points in the second quarter to take a 34-8 lead at the half.
Even with the commanding lead, Boyd still outscored Highland Rim in the second half in cruising to a 38-point victory.
