For the last three years, the District 6-AAA awards list has basically been a copy of the Warren County High School girls soccer team’s roster. This year wasn’t much different, though the District 6-AAA MVP wasn’t a Lady Pioneer for the first time since 2010.After winning last year’s overall MVP award, senior Ansley Mullican was named the district’s co-offensive MVP. Senior Morgan McCormick, the 2011 overall MVP, was this year’s midfield MVP and freshman Madison Mason was the district’s co-rookie of the year. It’s hard to imagine any District 6-AAA player having a better offensive season than Mullican, who scored 35 goals in the regular season. It was an increase in scoring for Mullican as she tallied 24 goals and 14 assists last year.
