Behind some standout pitching by Leo Castaneda, A-Plus Fasteners buttoned up a 4-1 win Monday over Edward Jones/Leann Cordell in continuing boys 9-11 youth league action Tuesday.A-Plus took an early lead in the bottom of the first after containing the Ed Jones boys to no runs in the top of the inning. Dawson Sullivan gave the Fasteners their first score for the 1-0 advantage.Edward Jones was retired 1-2-3 in the second with three strikeouts by Castaneda and Peyton Adams made it 2-0 in the bottom of the inning with another run for A-Plus.Still struggling with getting a drive going, Castaneda again retired the side 1-2-3 and Corban Felton and Castaneda put 2 more on the total tally leaving Edward Jones a 4-0 deficit.Having their best inning in the fourth Trace Crosby kept Jones from becoming scoreless as he tacked one on for the 4-1 ballgame.
