While the calendar may tell us summer doesn’t truly begin until June 20, for me as a lifelong McMinnville boy, all the signs are already there. School is out, Gilley Pool is open, it’s still daylight past 8 p.m., lightning bugs dot the night sky and, perhaps most telling, Main Street Live (MSL) begins tonight. Now in its 20th year, MSL has become a staple of June and July Friday nights for much of Warren County, including for me and my friends.
