Technology is growing by leaps and bounds and has definitely affected news and sports reporting, not to mention the sports themselves.I first got the reporting bug in 1998, when I wanted to use the gifts God gave me in a creative and interesting field. I also enjoyed the fact both the photography and written components were combined in an environment like the Southern Standard. I’ve always felt a local paper to be a real plus for a community.
