So, January is the trial month of the New Year, right? With that idea in mind, I decided to try some new things. Now that I have, whom better to share with than you?
So without further ado, here they are.
Bulletproof Unflavored Collagen Protein – It’s hard to get enough protein in every meal so I add this to my coffee in the mornings. It’s flavorless and dissolves easily so you don’t even know it’s there. Collagen protein gives your body the amino acid building blocks for glowing, hydrated skin, joint and bones. Grandpa and Grandma even like it and have felt improvements in their joints.
Dazzle Dry – Recommended by Cassy Joy Garcia, author of my favorite cookbook, I decided to test out a mini kit. I’m too cheap to get my nails done so yours truly paints her own. Dazzle Dry polish dries quickly, and has the longevity of gel polish. The best part – it’s both nontoxic and hypoallergenic and removes as easily as nail polish.
The Big Bottle Co – When my second faulty Hydrojug let me down leaking everywhere, I began the hunt for another half-gallon water bottle. I stumbled across The Big Bottle Co in my Google search and decided to try the 2.2 liter BPA free bottle in Commando Rose. I’m liking it so far.
Madison Braids – Came across this on Instagram and you know I love a good hair accessory to make my life easier. After watching their styling videos and reading all the reviews, I was sold. I decided to get the Arisa Fishtail. It matches my hair and the band is adjustable so no headaches. Ladies, I highly recommend this!
Opti-Greens 50 – I take this product daily after lunch with four ounces of water and OJ and have had better digestive health since. Opti-Greens 50 is a powdered drink mix made from 50 different botanical ingredients. It’s a mix of superfoods like alfalfa, kale, and blueberries. It also includes enzymes and probiotics to help ensure that you can digest all the plant-based ingredients.
Aveeno Body Wash with Lavender, Chamomile & Ylang-Ylang – This body wash leaves my skin soft and the fragrance is wonderful. A little goes a long way and it pairs nicely with my Molecule perfume. Oh, and Ross uses it too so it’s a hit at my house.
SugarWOD App – I’m an average (maybe slightly below average) crossfitter and this app keeps me organized. I like being able to see my progress and receiving virtual fist bumps from my friends and family when I log my workout.
A new year is a good excuse to vow to try out new things. From testing out new products to keeping a journal, there are lots of things/experiences to fill your 2020 with. After all, some say that variety is the spice of life.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you all some of my new favorite things I have been loving lately. That’s all for now. Hope you have a blessed week!
