I’ve been trying to think of words to describe the games I’ve witnessed since last Thursday starting with the Warren County Middle School baseball team, the WCMS softball team on Saturday, all the way to the District 6AAA Championship baseball game in Cookeville on Wednesday night with the Warren County High School baseball team making it to the finals.The easiest and the first word that comes to mind is rollercoaster. What a ride these young men and women have been on the last several days. I’ve tried to cover several of these games and talking to someone Wednesday evening, I told them I was nervous and I did not even have a kid on the field.Last Thursday night was so much cooler than anyone would have guessed it would be.
