When FBI Director James Comey announced Tuesday he was recommending the Justice Department not prefer criminal charges against former Secretary of State and presumptive Democratic nominee for President of the United States Hillary Clinton, it came as a blessing to her -- and a bafflement to many. Coming on the heels of former president and potential “First Husband” Bill Clinton’s not-so-secret meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and reports of Hillary’s hint about retaining Lynch as her Attorney General, Comey’s curious comments mystified me. And I’m not alone in my skepticism. Many Americans find it hard to believe President Obama’s Justice Department conducted a fair and impartial investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server to conduct official State Department business.
