What happened to 20 and 30, and the young man I used to be?”I wrote that song, or something like it, when I reached the ripe old age of 60. Here, on the eve of turning 78, I’m amazed at how young 60 seems to be, and how swiftly the past 18 years have flown.“Aging gracefully” has long been the catchphrase of so-called “geriatrics experts,” many of whom aren’t all that old themselves.
