Last Tuesday was the last big hurrah of the 2016 presidential primary season for both major political parties. Voters went to the polls in California, Montana, New jersey, New Mexico, and the Dakotas.Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton clinched her party’s nomination, albeit unofficially, when New Jersey voters put her over the top with more than enough of the Garden State’s delegates. Victories in other states, including a blowout in California, were more icing on the cake for her, and more nails in the coffin for the “Energizer Bernie’s” campaign.
