TO THE EDITOR:I am opposed to the removal of the 300-foot requirement between churches, schools and places that sell beer. This requirement was merely a show of respect. It never prevented anybody from buying a beer.Apparently, the requirement has become a tremendous hardship upon those who seek to profit from selling that which ends up costing society so much more.
