To the Editor:I am in complete agreement with James Clark’s editorial of Friday July 1, against the display of a Confederate flag at the courthouse. My namesake, grandfather Wilson P. Wallace, proudly fought and was wounded defending his home in Arkansas and the Confederacy. It spite of a request not to, he grandly carried the Battle Flag in a Blue and Gray Reunion parade at age 96 shortly before his death.I honor him for his bravery and sacrifice, but not for supporting slavery.
