TO THE EDITOR:I nearly burst out laughing when I read Paul Sherrell's announcement for 43rd district state representative. I don't know Mr. Sherrell and have nothing against his candidacy, but I do question his intent to "protect all citizens from liberal values."I don't know what he thinks liberal values are, but I think that liberal values have brought us civil rights, voting rights, and government programs such as Social Security and Medicare.
