To the Editor: The chairman of the Warren County Health and Welfare Committee continues to do all he can to hamper the efforts of the good folks at Animal Control and their supporters. Our goal as supporters of Animal Control and their employees is to ensure a high adoption rate at Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center, improve the treatment of animals within Warren County, and encourage spay/neuter to reduce the number of unwanted pets. The latest moves by some on the committee include moving the director from full-time salaried to full-time hourly and limiting her to comp time only, no overtime.
