TO THE EDITOR:In reference to the Letter to the Editor in the May 6 Southern Standard, I disagree that only people who have wheelchairs, walkers or canes should park in a handicap parking space. Handicapped is a catchphrase to tag people who have a physical disability. Disability comes in many forms and it’s often not recognizable by a limp, wheelchair, crutches, walker or a cane.
