TO THE EDITOR:
Warren County Commissioner Michael Shane Wilcher is a man willing to walk a difficult road to stand up for his rights. He should not be out any money if that is how the law is stated.
It is very unfortunate when video is available, yet our court system stands on the opinion of one judge. Maybe each court should have more than one judge. The evidence was clear.
Too many times it is a popularity contest. The county should have taken action immediately. Being threatened with bodily harm is not to be taken lightly.
We taxpayers earn the money so the county should spend the money wisely so as to benefit the people. Are the elected officials' incomes so much higher than the citizens' incomes that a chasm exists where the elected officials do not understand the desires and needs of us who earn less money?
Suggestion boxes should be available for people of the city and county to be able to express desires and opinions.
