The last two weeks have not been easy for me. As much as I have appreciated the chance to be a part of this 144-year-old institution known as the Southern Standard, I decided to put my two weeks notice in so that I could pursue some other opportunities that arose. Having spent most of the last decade outside of Warren County, I couldn’t pass up the offer of a job where I can get paid to take trips to, for instance, Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.
