In reading commentary on last week’s NFL draft, I stumbled upon one analyst who absolutely hated the picks made by the Tennessee Titans. He ranked the Titans draft 31st out of 32 teams.“Congratulations, the Titans have just won the 1983 Super Bowl,” he mused, saying Titans executives are building a team from yesteryear.Today’s pass-happy NFL is certainly a different product than when the Redskins ruled the league with a power back like John Riggins and an offensive line called The Hogs. But establishing a nasty attitude like the Titans crave is not wrong-headed.I get tired of bubble screens that lose three yards and the finesse passing games so many teams use.
Everlasting Joy 5-4
Titans draft a step in the right direction
