Friday night’s victory marked a milestone for the WCHS football team. The win over Coffee County was the first time the Pioneers have beaten a region opponent since TSSAA realignment two years ago.Heading into the matchup, the Pioneers had lost their first 11 games against Class 6A Region 2 opponents. They finish the year against two more region foes, Siegel and Blackman.
