Zada Daphene Coppinger, 81

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Zada Daphene Coppinger, 81, was born Nov. 29, 1932 and died April 6 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.
A retired chairperson with the Davidson County March of Dimes and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Marilda Curtis. She was married to Phillip Wayne Coppinger, who preceded her in death June 3, 2011. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Phillip Coppinger and three sisters, Mary Betty Christian, Leoma Clendenon and Ollie Mai Walker.
Mrs. Coppinger is survived by one son, Phillip Wayne Coppinger Jr., of San Diego, Calif.; three granddaughters, Brittanie Marie Coppinger of White Bluff, Valerie Celeste Coppinger DeLaby of Donelson, and Alyssa Nycole Coppinger of Mt. Juliet; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Logan and Kaylee; sister, Lois Grove of McMinnville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Tim Fariss officiating. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
