Wilma Jean Fuston Melton, 83, of McMinnville, died Thursday, Sept. 15, at her residence.
She was born April 2, 1933, in Warren County and was retired from the Winding Department at Magnetek Century Electric, a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by parents Haskell and Mellie Ellen McDowell Fuston; sisters Marie Parker and Claudine (Robert) Glenn; and brother Paul Edward Fuston.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Fisher Melton; son and daughter-in-law John David (Deborah Lynn) Melton; granddaughter Kellie Nicole (Chad) Rowland; great-granddaughter, Catherine Marie Rowland, and sister-in-law Johnann Melton Mills. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members also survive.
A graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery in Cannon County. Elder Ricky Arnold will officiate.
