Wilma Elizabeth Chisam, 89, a McMinnville resident and Cannon County native, was born March 24, 1931 and passed away April 14 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following a sudden illness.

She was a retired assembly line operator, a member of the Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Delter Lee and Myrtle Eva Sissom Tenpenny. She was also preceded in death by brother Harlan Tenpenny.

Mrs. Chisam is survived by son Keith (Gwen) Chisam of McMinnville, daughter Ronda (Jimmy) Wilder of Manchester, four grandchildren Jeremy (Nicole) Chisam, Jeff (Courtney) Chisam, Kelly Wilder, and Keyonna Wilder, four great-grandchildren Anaston Chisam, Brayden Chisam, Brynlee Chisam, and Brody Chisam, brother Raymond Tenpenny of Murfreesboro and three sisters, Jewell Groves of McMinnville, Joyce Hickerson of Manchester, and Iva (Jimmy) Cunningham of McMinnville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service and interment will be held for family only. No visitation will be held at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
