McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Willis Edwin Martin, 72, was born May 1, 1943 and died March 29 at his residence following a two-year illness.A retired contractor and member of Bonner Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Clarence Wesley and Ruby Boyd Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Barbara King. He was married March 3, 1972 to Hilda Nunley Martin of McMinnville.
