Willie Floyd Boren, 80, of Rock Island died Sunday, March 27 at NHC Health Care Center in McMinnville.He was born June 18, 1935, in Warren County, was retired from Martin & Glenn Glass Company and also Warren County Highway Department, was a U.S. Army veteran, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mr. Boren was preceded in death by parents, William Beverly and Kadie Myrtle Schrock Boren; sister Ethel Green, and brothers Lloyd, Oscar, Wilton, Boyd, Robie, Embert, and Ivan Gerald Boren.Survivors include his wife of 58 years Rachel Boren; daughter, Kim (Ken) Rymer; son Vince Boren; grandchildren Kaleb Rymer and Kendra Rymer, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Sonny (Diane) Vincent. Many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
