William Wyatt “Bill” Loudermilk was a resident of McMinnville. He was born in Ferndale, Mich., on Aug. 13, 1937. He passed from this life Dec. 3 at his daughter’s residence.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marguerite Newby Loudermilk, and parents James Elmer Loudermilk and Wilma Bodesia Cross Loudermilk. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Jim Loudermilk and Dale Elmer Loudermilk.
Bill grew up in Ferndale and worked for Kroger during his teenage years. In 1957, he joined the United States Army with his brother Jim where he served two years. He returned to civilian life and married Marguerite Newby in 1959. In 1968, they moved to McMinnville. After a brief time of working construction with Marguerite’s brothers, he opened Roma Pizza Parlor. Together, they served the community for 25 years. He was a member of Central Church of Christ where he attended faithfully for many years.
He is survived by his three children and their spouses Lisa Bell (Martin), Wyatt Loudermilk (Tina), and Garner Loudermilk (Kole). Two grandchildren Christian Alexander Loudermilk and Calleigh Bella Loudermilk also survive.
The memorial service will be held in July, 2022 to coincide with the annual family reunion.
