William Ross Dyer Jr., 75, of Morrison passed from this life Friday, May 4, at his home.
He was born Thursday, May 7, 1942 in Cookeville and was the son of the late Ross Dyer and the late Ethel Morgan Dyer. He was a life-long dairy farmer and member of Morrison Church of Christ.
William is survived by two daughters Teresa Pelham and husband Rodney, Vanessa Dyer and boyfriend Vince Smart, two sons Johnny Holt and wife Dara, Trey Dyer and wife Candie, seven grandchildren Stephen, Cody, Dakota, Cierra and husband Lee, Ashley and husband Alex , Justin, and Leah, four great-grandchildren and two more on the way, brother Leslie Dyer and wife Margaret, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife Lois Holt Dyer and daughter Kathy Swallows.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 7 at 1 p.m. with Leroy Deadmon officiating. Interment will follow at Stroud Cemetery in Morrison. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 6, from 3 to 9 p.m., and again Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
