William Mays Briley, 72, of McMinnville died Friday, Sept. 28 at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville.He was born Aug. 9, 1940 in Nashville and he was a retired data processor with Metro Nashville Government and a cattle farmer. Mr. Briley was preceded in death by parents William F. and Doye Rainey Briley, and brother Earl Douglas Briley.Survivors include his wife Daphne Briley; his children, Debbie (Farid) Eskandarnia, Michael Briley, Denise Briley, and Dawn Austin with Daniel (Tank) King; sister-in-law, Barbara Briley grandchildren, Eric Briley, Sara Briley, Cody Briley, Candice (Ryan) Rigney, Craig Jaco, Briley Austin, Jay Austin, Trayton King, Caleb King, and Mackenzie King, and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rigney, Rylan Rigney, Livia Jaco, Nevaeh Briley, Alec Briley, and Samia Briley.A memorial service is 4 p.m. Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will officiate.
