McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Haskell Pendleton, 80, died April 9 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.A retired contractor with Boyd Brothers Nursery and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served as an elder, he was the son of the late Charlie and Etta Pelham Pendleton. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Thurman Pendleton; sisters, Minnie Pendleton, Myrtle Pendleton, Estell and F.C. Hillis, and Clata and Jessie Turner.He is survived by brothers, Roy and Ralph Pendleton, both of McMinnville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Austin King, Evelyn and Cecil King, all of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Michael Weeter, Marcus King and Tim King officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
