William Harris Davis, 80, of McMinnville died Sunday, July 3, at River Park Hospital after a short illness.He was born in McMinnville on Jan. 27, 1931, the son of the late Oliver H. and Edna M. (Christian) Davis. He was a 20-year member of Westwood Church of Christ and worked as a construction worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Davis.He is survived by his wife of 46 years Barbara L. (Bishop) Davis of McMinnville; daughter, Deborah L. Dennis of Joelton; two sons David L. Dennis of Benton, AR., Bradley E. Davis of McMinnville; two sisters, Margurite Young of McMinnville, Barbara and husband Doyle Pryor of McMinnville; two brothers, Morris Davis of McMinnville, Michael Davis of San Antonio, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Barbara Bishop of Plumerville, AR. Several nieces, nephews and a host of cousins also survive.
