Wavie Turner, 94, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, died Oct. 28 at her residence following a sudden illness.She was a self-employed caregiver, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Thomas Guy and Katherine Elizabeth Barrett Cutts.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons, Ricky and Michael Turner and daughter, Kathy Turner. She was married Nov. 26, 1942 to Everett Lee Turner, who preceded her in death July 25, 2006. Mrs. Turner is survived by son, Kerry Lee Turner of McMinnville; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia (Lloyd) Goodman of Smithville, and Wanda (Jerry) Silver of Ohio; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.Funeral service will be Friday at 3 p.m. in High’s Chapel with Barry Boggs to officiate.
