Morrison resident and Florida native Voniece Tupper, 92, was born Jan. 11, 1930 and died Nov. 20, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Church, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Thomas and Mattie Elizabeth Neel Roberts. She was married to E.R. Tupper, Jr. on Nov. 17, 1946, who preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2006.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Erwin Wayne Tupper; son-in-law; William Clinton "Pete" Peterson and brothers, Larry Roberts, Kenneth Roberts and Donald Roberts.

Ms. Tupper is survived by one daughter, Mary Peterson (Dan) Bullington of Viola; four grandchildren, Lisa Peterson (Danny) Ferrell of Manchester, William (Traci) Peterson of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; Erwin (Allison) Tupper of Morrison, and Robert Peterson of Viola; eight great-grandchildren, Clinton, Daniel and Colton Ferrell, Jacob, Emma and Sarah Peterson, Asa and Scarlett Tupper and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at High’s Parlors. No funeral service will be held at High Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to Viola Valley Dogs or Mt. Zion Church.
