Virginia Presley, 78, a resident of McMinnville, formerly of Sparta, died Sunday, June 17 at Raintree Manor in McMinnville.Mrs. Presley was born Jan. 18, 1934 in Nashville to the late Andrew Presley and Vinnie Maynard Butler. She was a homemaker and mother of six sons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Fred Presley; and sons Dewey Lavaughn Presley and Eddie Lee Presley.She is survived by four sons, James Edward and wife Frances Presley of Sparta, Fred Presley Jr., and wife Bessie Presley of McMinnville, Michael Ernest Presley and Robert Glenn Presley, both of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunter Funeral Home P.O.
