Virginia Lovett Smithson, 93, homemaker and resident of The Bridge of Columbia, died Sunday, May 29, at Life Care Center of Columbia.The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William Samuel Lovett and Katie Lee Hardison Lovett. She was a 1941 graduate of Columbia Central High School. For many years she was a self-employed seamstress.
