McMinnville resident and Warren County native Virginia Louise Woodard, 85, was born April 4, 1927 and died Nov. 5 at her residence following a lingering illness.A retired self-employed caterer and a member of East End Drive Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Doris and Sally Locke Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Smith and Dorothy McGee, and one brother, James Russell Ramsey.She is survived by two sons, Tommy Woodard of Springfield, and Charles Woodard of Lebanon; one daughter, Cynthia Grizzard of Nashville; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Nannie Belle Martin, Mary E. Cope and Linda Butts, all of McMinnville, and Johnnie R. Blevins of Detroit, Mich.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Phillip Smith, Lee White and George King officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
