“Tooter” Elbert Wayne Bell, 71

McMinnville resident and Warren County native “Tooter” Elbert Wayne Bell, 71, was born Jan. 20, 1951 and died June 11 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville.

A retired truck driver from Hobb’s Trucking Company, he was the son of the late Dewey Latton and Evelyn Frances Mayes Bell. He was married to Connie Judkins Bell on March 2, 1984. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Bell.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bell is survived by daughter and fiancé, Alexandria “Alex” Reanne Bell and Taggart Huttchson of McMinnville, brother Latton (Linda) Bell of McMinnville, sister-in-law Brenda Bell of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Per Mr. Bell’s wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, June 17, at High’s Chapel with Mike Gann officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service at High’s. Inurnment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County.
