McMinnville resident and Gedion, Mo., native Thelma L. Morrison Frakes, 86, died Dec. 15 at Raintree Manor after an extended illness.A bookkeeper, real estate agent and a member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lester J. and Martha E. Armour Morrison, and was also preceded in death by son, Freddy Frakes.She is survived by her husband, Al Frakes Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, James and Darlene Morrison of Clarksdale, Ms.; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Jessie Ybarra of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Martha Morris and Norma Deason, both of McMinnville; son, Al Frakes Jr., of San Antonio; grandchildren, Brad Austin of Springfield, Mo., Terry Austin of Arvada, Calif., Dale, Tim and Kevin Deason, all of McMinnville, Debbie Jennings, Lori Panter, and Jennifer Moore, all of McMinnville, and 19 great-grandchildren.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at High’s Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and noon until time of service Sunday at High’s.
